Crédibilité du travail scientifique et identité numérique du chercheur : l’intentionnalité en question

Abstract : On december 11th 2017 a thesis about deep geolocial radioactive waste repository management in France is defended. Two months later, its author hits the national medias’ headlines. The media narrative presents the author as a whistleblower. This article studies this particular case in order to question the scientific information credibility. We defend that researcher’s narratives can’t always be mastered. The researcher’s digital identity gives a good example of this lack of control on narratives about him. Digital identity brings a political stake because the researcher has to determine which narratives he agrees with, considering some of them are written whithout his knowledge.
