Method for CO2 capture with a membrane contactor
Résumé
A method for removing at least part of carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) from a gas stream using a membrane that is permeable to CO 2 , having a first surface and a second opposing surface, said method comprising bringing the gas stream in contact with the first surface of the membrane, and bringing the second surface of the membrane with an aqueous solution comprising ammonia (NH 3 ) so that at least part of the CO 2 of the gas stream is removed from the gas stream and transferred through the membrane to the aqueous solution, said method being characterized in that the gas stream has a steam (H 2 O) partial-pressure of at least 1200 Pa.
