Vulnérabilité des systèmes herbagers face au changement climatique : Une étude d'exploitations d'élevage du versant ouest du massif vosgien

Abstract : The territory of Deodatie (south-west of the Vosges massif) launched in 2020, through its Territorial and Rural Balance Pole (PETR) an assessment of the vulnerability of the livestock systems of its territory to climate change. 13 farms representative of the diversity of pedoclimatic conditions and fodder systems (proportion of grassland in forage areas, level of intensification of production) served as support for this study. The forage production of the 750 grasslands of these 13 farms were simulated over the historical period 1989-2019, and over the period 2020-2100. For the future, different technical scenarios have been chosen: "business as usual", diversification of fodder resources, intensification of production, pooling of resources between farms, sobriety. The simulations were carried out using the STICS model developed by INRAE, and considering the different types of grasslands of the Vosges massif characterized by the recent agroecological typology work 2017-2020. Based on the accounting documents of the 13 farms (2015 and 2018 to 2019), and the costs and products induced by the climate change adaptation scenarios, economic indicators were calculated. The results of these simulations show the level of technical (forage balance) and economic vulnerability according to the farming systems and scenarios selected
