Écrire pour vivre, écrire pour dire : étude de la conception de l’écriture de Marie Desplechin à travers quelques romans

Abstract : Through the study of several novels staging the activity of writing (Trop sensibles, Sans moi, La Vie sauve, Danbé, L’Album vert), we are interested in trying to grasp what makes Marie Desplechin so unique as a writer. Writing seems to answer an urgent need and also seems to save as well the one who writes as the one who is portrayed. The narrative ways which are used hinge on one question: how can the author use “I” when they write about someone else’s story? How can they bear someone else’s voice without stealing it? Reality and fiction mix up with only truth on the horizon: the truth of the forgotten, the truth of human suffering, of nudity and experience. This writing resolutely turns to the other.
