Chronique : Le droit international de l'environnement (juillet 2019-juin 2021) ou l'effort permanent contre les charmes funestes de Circé

Abstract : The present column covers the significant events in the field of International Environmental Law over the last two years (July 2019 – June 2021). First, it considers sectorial issues such as protection of climate, fresh water, marine environment, air and atmosphere, flora, fauna and biodiversity. Secondly, it deals with environmental protection as a whole, transsectorial protection (substances, waste), environment and trade as well as environmental responsibility and liability. The legal sources taken into account are mainly treaties, COP, UN and other soft law instruments as well as judicial decisions.
