Mettre en œuvre des processus de transitions professionnelles dans une collectivité territoriale : l’exemple des procédures métiers

Abstract : The phenomenon of professional transitions within the Meurthe-et-Moselle Departmental Council was observed and then confirmed by an exploratory research study, in which the annual increase of professional transitions in this institution was expressed. In this research, a qualitative study was conducted to understand how job-related procedures could be a professional resource for professional transitions. Semi-directive interviews were conducted with nine agents who had experienced professional transitions and work with job-related procedures. This study focuses on the use of procedures in supporting newcomers to a position or an organization. Results confirm the idea that the use of job-related procedures can be a professional resource for agents experiencing professional transitions, especially for newcomers. Integration into a new position is an important moment of professional transitions, it can be source of questioning and uncertainty. Job-related procedures secure integration of newcomers, particularly by the transmission and memory of knowledge for the whole organization.
