Santé des adolescents à Hochiminh-ville (Vietnam)

Abstract : Adolescents present and will present an important place within the Vietnamese population both demographically and socially. Due to the impact of the economic transition, their risk behaviors are presently increasing. This is evidenced by the consumption of psychoactive substances, instances of HIV infection, unwanted pregnancies, abortions, motor vehicle accidents and violence... This research composed the identification of health concepts, perceived health, health demands, the risk behaviors as the illicit substance consumption and sexuality, the mortality of the Vietnamese adolescents, and also the current health cares particularly school health program. This study shows that adolescents in Vietnam are high-risk population, and that their health should be a priority. The thesis ends by propositions of a national and provincial policy of adolescents health containing specific adolescents health programs but also an adaptation to their specificity of all the health services.
