Etude de la condensation en film dans un échangeur à tubes et ailettes en présence d'un gaz incondensable et du drainage du condensat

Abstract : The objective of this work is a numerical study of film condensation during the dehumidification of humid air in presence of noncondensable gas, the design of a system of filtration used to capture and retain the water droplets present in the air and to propose a design of heat exchanger which ensures the thermal and economie performance. A simulation of water vapor condensation in presence of air between two vertical plane plates and in a heat exchanger is led with the FLUENT software in stationary and transient mode. The flow is laminar and the fluid is supposed to be incompressible. The accuracy of the model was confirmed through experimental results. A numerical comparison under FLUENT software of several configurations of droplets separator was made. A numerical study (FLUENT) on geometrical optimization was undertaken in order to find critical fin and tube spacings.
