Implication du système nerveux dans la régulation de l'anabolisme des protéoglycanes du cartilage articulaire : mise au point d'un modèle de chondropathie neurogène chez le rat

Abstract : Our works study the participation of a neurogenic component in an articular cartilage damage observed in an original model of nociception. We have developed and adapted a model of inflammation on rats driving to a degenerative chondropathy. We have, in a first lime, determined experirnental conditions favoring the detection of a nervous component. This step, based on the diminution of the systemic component of inflammation, has allowed us to develop a model of neurogenic chondropathy. We show that a non systemic inflammatory stimulus induces an early articular cartilage damage from a distance of the inflammation site by using nervous transmission pain pathways. This work applies for the time first to the cartilage the concept of neurogenic inflammation. This study improves knowledge of rnechanisms driving to osteoarticular diseases.
