Mise en oeuvre des supercondensateurs dans les sources hybrides continues

Abstract : One of the main obstacles when using of embarked electrical sources, such as batteries or fuel cells, lies in the inertia of this kind of devices, which limits dynamic performances, and in the case of batteries, range and lifetime. The management of embarked electrical energy needs a storage system for peak load shaving, in order to compensate for the intrinsic limitations of the main source. The use of supercapacitors for this storage system is quite suitable, in regard to their energetical properties. This thesis deals with the sizing of the storage device (energy, power, voltage), the control of the interface converters of hybrid power sources using supercapacitors and the management of transient power peaks between different element of the system. This study is illustrated by the achievement and the test of two experimental hybrid sources. The tirst is based on the association of batteries and supercapacitators, and the second is an example of voltage regulated DC hybrid source.
