Effets de l'introduction d'enveloppes de sésame et de brisures de lentilles dans la ration sur la production et la composition du lait de chèvre au Liban

Abstract : Goals were used in Lebanon in order to study the effect of incorporation of sesame hulls and broken lentils in the diet on goal milk production. To the High yielding Damascus goat, incorporation of 16% of these by products had no effect on milk production. To the Baladi and low yielding Damascus goals; it leads to an augmentation of production persistence. The milk produced by animals receiving unconventional by products is richer with fat and present a fall in the Palmitic acid and a rise in the Stearic acid and Oleic acid. At the level of 22% of substitution, the fall of milk production comparing to the level of 10%, is not compensated by rise in fat content and fat production also fell. In ranges, the milk and fat production increased during the dry period with the animals receiving the supplemental concentrate. The results justify the utilization of these by products at 16% of the diet.
