Contribution en hydraulique-aérodynamique par la méthode des vortex aléatoires : écoulements de Couette-Poiseuille et couche limite pulsée

Abstract : This work is devoted to the study of the random vortex method (RVM) which makes possible simulation of turbulent flows, two-dimensional, incompressible and non-stationary. The algorithm of this method is described as well as the conditions of adherence. Two kinds of flows are simulated. The first is the Couette-Poiseuille flow. The other is a flow pulsated around a plane plate (pulsating boundary layer). This study allowed us to test the RVM for the two kinds of flows. For the flow of Couette-Poiseuille, we calculated the profile mean velocity as well as the statistical sizes concerning the velocity fluctuations, and we highlighted the coherent structures. For the flow pulsated around a plane plate, simulations are carried out for a range of Reynolds number (10[puissance]3 -7.10[puissance]6). An experimental preliminary study was carried out for a flow pulsated around a plate planes in order to validate some our numerical results. We note a good agreement between the simulation and the experimentation.
