Groupes de symétries : application à l'étude du transfert de chaleur et de masse

Abstract : Heat transfer in fluids which viscosity depends on temperature is almost studied .using numerical and experimental methods. In this thesis we are interested by the analytical point of view. First, we look for behavior laws that allow auto similar solutions to the boundary layer problem for non newtonian fluids. For this, we use the symmetry group theory of partial differential equations and the preliminary classification method. We improve the last one by introducing non classical equivalence transformations. We are also concerned by effective calculation of symmetry groups and we give an algorithm based on Grobner basis. At the end, we use asymptotic methods to study the boundary layer over a plan to point out the effect of the viscosity dependance on the Nusselt number in both newtonian and Oswald fluids.
