Modélisation et étude expérimentale des propriétés amortissantes des tôles sandwich

Abstract : This study presents the constitutive relation and the equation governing the flexural motion of an element of a sandwich plate starting from the behavior of each component (elastic for the steel and viscoelastic for the polymer). The effects of rotatory inertia and transverse shear are inclued. The constitutive relation allow to predict the damping capacity and vibratory behavior of sandwich structures. To valid this approach, comparaison between experiment datas (damping and resonance frequency) and proposed model in the case of a cantilever sandwich beam are presented. Agood agreement is observed
