Une approche auto-cohérente pour le comportement des polycristaux viscoplastiques en grandes déformations

Abstract : A new self-consistent scheme is proposed which neglects elasticity but takes into account the viscoplasticity of the single crystal behavior and the grain shape. This model is based on the knowledge of the rate-sensitivity parameter. The formulation is shown which, starting from the crystallite tangent behavior, solves the equilibrium equations using the green function method, and leads finally to a Kröner-like interaction formule. The main feature of this model is to describe low interactions. Texture results are shown at large strains and compared to both Taylor predictions and experimental results for uniaxial tension compression rolling and torsion. The effects of grain shape and latent hardening are analysed. Statistics are presented concerning the stress and strain rate deviations from average and also concerning the slip system activity. It is shown, in particular, that the rolling texture is better represented than using the Taylor model, the Taylo component which is a feature of the latter model does not appear any more with the self-consistent model. It is also shown that the correct "110" texture is found in compression and is associated with the curling phenomenon which is also described using the self-consistent model
