Modélisation physique du comportement plastique de l'aluminium à moyenne température : application à l'étude de la striction

Abstract : A physical modelling of the viscoplastic behaviour of f.c.c. metals has been developed and apllied to tensile tests, creep tests and relaxation tests on aluminium. A state-variable approach is utilized with the following state-variables : the grain size, the subgrain size and the average dislocation density. The accuracy of the model is checked through its ability to describe in a unified way the response of the material as a function of the various loading conditions investigated. The model has also been implemented into an analysis of the diffuse necking process, and the predictions have been compared with the experimental results
