Auto-focalisation par transformations orthogonales : automatisation d'un système de mesure de la longueur de fissure sur un faciès de rupture

Abstract : The different steps for obtaining industrial images are presented. Usual light conditions are discussed. We deal with subpixel measurement technics, wich improve the measurement accuracy by further processing image data. After a brief overview of the usual auto-focusing technics, new procedures using orthogonal transforms are presented and their ability to characterize various morphologies are studied. By comparing the two proposed transformations and the structure of their computing algorithms, provisional conclusions are proposed. The implementation of autofocusing camera technics in metrology systems is dealt with in the third chapter, and the set of the parameters determining the accuracy measurement is studied. In the last chapter, an automatic vision system for the automatic measurement in Crack Opening Displacement (COD) test is proposed. The system uses the ability of the orthogonal transforms studied to recognize a texture. Hardware and software devices are presented ; the different steps of the processing procedure are exposed
