Descriptions définies et démonstratives : Analyses de Corpus pour la Génération de Textes

Abstract : This thesis is about the generation of referring expressions which involve inferences in their production. A corpus study permitted to propose three extensions of Gardent and Striegnitz algorithm which produces coreferential definite descriptions and bridging anaphoras. Theoretical datas about definite and demonstrative descriptions being not sufficient for generation, the corpus study permitted to precise the datas and to extend generation algorithm in this way : For the production of bridging descriptions, taking into account of the sources of the inference involved in the relation between antecedents and anaphors ; for coreferential description, in generating anaphors repeating information or adding information about their referent ; an algorithm for the choice between definite and demonstrative determiner.
