Synthèse de monomères acryliques : eévaluation et modélisation de leurs propriétés optiques

Abstract : Optical properties of methacrylic monomers are studied in this thesis. First, many acrylic monomers have been synthesized. They contain different groups and functions and more specifically sulfur functions and (poly)cyclic structures. In a second part, optical properties of this monomers have been evaluated thanks to their refractive indexes and their Abbe numbers (dispersion). As an observation, sulfur functions and aromatic structures cause a high refractive index but a low Abbe number. Moreover, (poly)cyclic coumponds give good dispersion properties. Finally, a model of prediction of optical properties have been accomplished. Refractive indexes and Abbe numbers can be predicted thanks to chemical structure and a relation derived from looyenga's relation with a good precision
