Une expérience d’éducation régénératrice : l’École Freinet à Vence (1934-1939)

Abstract : How to change education and society ? How Freinet think that ? This contribution seeks to answer this question by returning to the creation of the Freinet School in Vence during the inter-war and political and by studying the meaning of this experience. In this context, we need to understand what the idea of revolutionary action induces in the Freinet and Elise Freinet critical thought about their educational conceptions, and for that, we need to get back on their trajectories and their social networks. By introducing the uniqueness of this new school, private, proletarian and naturist, this study wants to understand how the experience of Vence represents both a critical thinking about questions of education and the materialization of a position about the question of societal and educational changes in France.
