L'intégration des espaces de nature en ville aux continuités écologiques grâce aux outils de gestion des territoires : application dans le cadre de la révision du Plan Local d'Urbanisme de Saint-Nazaire

Abstract : Natural spaces in city are essential for a sustainable management of urban areas. They host diverse human activities, and are also hosting biodiversity and components of city ecological networks, supporting ecological services necessary for a sustainable city. These spaces’ biodiversity is fragile, so it is essential to integrate the biodiversity conservation in urban planning and urban management. The raising awareness of local actors and these spaces’ users, as well as a good knowledge on this diversity, allow precise interventions for urban ecology and a greater collective consciousness of its stakes. The difficulty about conciliating ecological stakes and the other urban stakes and uses makes necessary an effective aux thoughtful management strategy concerning such spaces. Thanks to the scientific knowledge improvement and the legislative documents evolution, a more adapted and more accurate management is possible. This management reaches a great efficiency when users and local actors are involved in decision and management initiatives.
