Irish Borders in Europe The Brexit Debate and Border Change in Ireland: The foreseeable consequences of a leave vote on trade, agriculture, agri-food, and finance in Northern Ireland

Abstract

Beyond the historical, political, and constitutional stakes of the coming referendum on remaining or leaving the EU for the United Kingdom, this paper addresses the foreseeable consequences of a Leave vote on the high value sectors of the Northern-Irish economy, namely trade, agriculture, investment and finance, as well as on the vital sector of agri-food.
