Identification des systèmes multivariables par les méthodes des sous-espaces. Application à un système d'entraînement de bande

Abstract : This work deals with the identification of multivariable systems by the subspace methods (4SID : Subspace-based State-Space System IDentification). The first chapter presents an overview of the existing subspace-based techniques. To complete this theoretical synthesis, the applicability of these approaches is considered in the second chapter. The latter is based on a comparative study between the 4SID algorithms and those of the prediction error method, and is turned on the ill-conditionned multivariable systems. The development of the subspace methods to the identification problem of continuous-time state-space models is presented in the third chapter. A methodology and an algorithm based on the combination of the 4SID algorithms with the Poisson moment functionals filtering are proposed. The last chapter is devoted to the application of the subspace methods to a winding process. In a first part, discrete-time and continuous-time state-space models have been identified, compared and validated around a local operating point. These models have been used to develop and implement a multivariable controller of the winding tensions based on a LQG strategy. In a second part, a semi-physical modeling methodology including subspace methods is proposed and applied to the system in order to determine a simulation grey-box model valid on the whole winding processing. In the last part of this thesis, solutions to the identification problem associated with the asymetric behaviors of the winding tensions are proposed. They are based on the use of piecewise linear models.
