Approche contrastive de la traduction économique spécialisée : le cas du dictionnaire des sciences économiques

Abstract : This research, having as a general experimental framework the specialized economic translation, tries to narrow the gap between the theory and the practice in translation between French and Arabic. We devote an important place to the commonly used economic terms, their translation, their analysis, their equivalents and their epistemology. The basic objective of this approach is to know where the Sudanese translator is, whose mother tongue is Arabic, the first foreign language is English and the second foreign language is French, and to observe how each of these three languages influence it. Indeed, this study is based on a general observation that many of the problems encountered by some translators during translation. These problems are linguistic, textual, contextual, intercultural, etc. It seems to us essential to show that the understanding of the text / context is a crucial step in the act of translation. It is a comprehensive understanding as well as a sequential understanding of the statement being dealt with. To translate, one must first understand. It is not for learners to learn formulas and expressions translated from LD into LA. It is a question of teaching them a whole range of procedures, techniques and know-how allowing them not only a training and a methodical practice but also an experience based on a reflective learning of the translation. Two methods of analysis were followed in this research. The first method is devised by J.-P. Vinay and J. Darbelnet in their book Comparative Stylistics of French and English, which addresses a varied audience. The second method of analysis is a method that has been proven in recognized works, initiated by Michel Ballard in The Translation from English to French, and addressed to those who wish to learn and practice reasoned to the practice of translation. To be more successful in the field of translation in Sudan, whether general or specialized, specific planning of translation must be put in place through measures such as: mobilizing learners' motivation to learn foreign languages, training teachers foreign languages in countries where these are the first languages of communication, provide specialized dictionaries monolingual, bilingual and trilingual, formulate courses largely attractive for the theoretical study of translation and be interested, as for foreign languages , the improvement of the mother tongue.
