Abstract : This works investigates a new process development in order to consolidate materials with original microstructures thus improved properties. The technological approach was to use powder metallurgy processes and combine FAST sintering with dynamic compaction. In parallel to elastic wave propagation study into the system, a systematic parametric study on the influence of the processing parameters on the material properties was made
